The RUSTA Group of Companies is the official partner of the third SCM Congress of managers and specialists in logistics and supply chains, which took place on April 23, 2019 in the World Trade Center on Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment.
The Congress field gathered more than 1,500 participants – leaders and experts in the field of logistics, and the key topic of the third Congress was megatrends in logistics and supply chains, task automation, planning, and digitization of the logistics industry. The speeches of 45 speakers and guests of honor were devoted to these and other topics.
Sergey Burago took part in the panel session “From supply chains to value chain – a view of logistics and service companies”. The topics on the framing of the logistics and transport market, the transparency of the pricing process, electronic document flow by the cargo owner, the topics of collaboration, success in foreign trade transactions and the growing need on the part of business for quality foreign economic support were discussed. In this regard, a trend was set in the direction of foreign economic activity, the creation of SCM-Platform (FEA) based on the advice of professionals in supply chains.
Gennady Adamaites, the Development Director of the RUSTA Group of Companies headed the direction of Foreign Economic Activity, who announced the creation of a working group and invited partners to join this initiative of the SCM-Platform of Foreign Economic Activity on the basis of the Council. The main goal of the SCM-Platform of Foreign Economic Activity is to optimize the work of Russian enterprises in the foreign economic sphere, as well as to increase the efficiency of foreign economic transactions of the members of the Council of Supply Chain Professionals.
The work of the SCM-Platform of Foreign Economic Activity will be based on the results of many years of work of specialists of foreign economic activity, an analysis of the professional activities of partners of the platform and participants of foreign economic activity, taking into account domestic and international experience. All this will take into account the growing interconnection of various types of foreign economic activity and the integration of Russia into the system of international production, the expansion of industrial and technological cooperation with foreign partners, especially subject to sanctions and counter sanctions.
